The Murten Truffle Market returns on 14 and 15 November 2026 for a weekend full of flavour and culinary discoveries in the heart of the old town. Around 22 exhibitors will present truffles, regional specialities and a wide range of products inspired by this exceptional ingredient.
For two days, Murten will revolve around the unmistakable taste of truffles. Alongside fresh truffles, visitors will find many specialities at the market stalls, including pasta, spices, rice, fondues and other truffle-flavoured creations.
One of the highlights is the truffle and wine tasting at the Hotel Murtenhof & Krone. Selected wines from Vully winemaker Christophe Dupasquier will be paired with small truffle bites, creating a delicious combination of regional wines and refined flavours.
A varied culinary programme will also complement the market. In the tent in front of the French Church, the popular truffle fondue will be served on Friday evening. On Saturday and Sunday, visitors will also be able to enjoy truffle risotto.
Another highlight is the Truffle Evening. Regional chefs will prepare a five-course truffle menu, accompanied by carefully selected wines from the Vully region. Places are limited, so early booking is recommended.
